Bi lateral meeting in between BLF and Tannery Worker’s Union

Bi-lateral meeting in between Bangladesh Labour Foundation – BLF and Tannery Worker’s Union was held at the Tannery Industrial Estate, Hemayatpur, Dhaka.

The meeting discussed the progress of the National Plan of Action to ensure Social Compliance in the Tanneries. In his speech Abdus Salam Khan, the Chairman of Bangladesh Labour Foundation – BLF emphasised on the better Industrial Relations to ensure a Decent Workplace. He also told that Trade Union should work on Just Transition for upskilling the capacity of the Tannery Workers to eliminate vulnerability.
