Workshop on Labour Reform Commission’s Recommendations on Child Labour
Workshop on National Child Labour Situation, Labour Reform Commission’s Recommendations on Child Labour Elimination and the Role of Trade Unions was held by Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), with support from Mondiaal FNV on 20 July, 2025 at Banani, Dhaka.
National and Sectoral trade union leaders from various sector were present at the workshop. The participants urged the government to implement the recommendations for the elimination of child labour within 2030 and called on CSOs and all relevant stakeholders to work together. In addition, the role that trade unions can play in eliminating child labour was discussed in this event.
Let us unite our voices and actions to ensure a child-labour-free Bangladesh by 2030.
