GBV Workshop with Tower Women’s Committees
A workshop on Gender- Based Violence with Members of the Tower Women’s Committees and the Central Women’s Cell was conducted by Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) at Keraniganj. The workshop focused on organizing women workers, increasing female union participation, forming anti-harassment committees, and strengthening union-based conflict resolution. Together, we’re building safer, stronger workplaces for women.
The decisions of the workshop are as follows:
Organize women workers at the tower level Increase the number of female members in trade unions Assist in forming tower-based anti-harassment committees Encourage women workers to approach unions for conflict resolution Properly document the problems solved by the women’s committee in each tower in the form of resolutionsRelated posts
