In a recent visit to Nepal GoodWeave Foundation and GoodWeave Certification Nepal, A K M Ashraf Uddin, Executive Director of Bangladesh Labour Foundation, witnessed firsthand the commendable efforts of these organizations in creating a supply chain free from child labour. The commitment to accountability from both suppliers and purchasers is a noteworthy step towards ensuring ethical practices throughout the entire supply chain.
During the visit, the focus on the entire supply chain process, often overlooked, was particularly impressive. Nepal GoodWeave Foundation and GoodWeave Certification Nepal have undertaken initiatives that go beyond mere compliance, aiming to eliminate and rehabilitate child laborers.
The visit left A K M Ashraf Uddin impressed, recognizing the vital role played by Nepal GoodWeave Foundation and GoodWeave Certification Nepal in setting new standards for ethical supply chain practices. The commendations are extended, wishing them continued success in their mission.
