May Day Celebration 2023

May Day has been observed to recognise the workers contribution and commemorating the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement. Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) along with different workers organization celebrated May Day 2023 with different program in different places.

The participants demanded freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining at workplace. This is also similarly important to work together to eliminate all forms of child labour, prevent gender based violence, remove all sort of discrimination and ensure occupation safety and health at work place.

They also urge the government should start on alternative skill development and take action to adopt with climate change and just transition.
