16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2024
A vibrant rally and discussion meeting were organized by the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) to promote awareness, challenge discriminatory attitudes, and advocate for stronger legislation and services to combat violence against women.
The program included releasing pigeons as a symbol of peace, flying colorful balloons as a symbol of solidarity. Mondial FNV supported the event on 26 November 2024 at the premises of the Tannery Workers Union in Savar.
Leaders of the Tannery Workers Union, middle-level managements, representatives of ETI Bangladesh and many others, attended the event.
