World Day for Decent Work | Transforming Tanneries Toward Ethical Workplaces on October 7th

Bangladesh Labour Foundation has been working in the Tannery Sector for establishing a Decent work environment since its placement in the Tannery Industrial Estate, Savar. BLF is working with workers, employers, workers organization, employers association and the government and implementing the National Plan of Action (NPA) to ensure Social Compliance in the Tannery Industries in Savar under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, GoB and Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE).

 

On the occasion of World Day for Decent Work this year, BLF has distributed apron and face mask to the factory workers also conducted factory based awareness campaign on house keeping leading to have a safe workplace.
