Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) organised a 2-day long training on Study Circle Leadership for the Female Workers of unionized Factories supported by the Mondiaal FNV.

The training was organized at Tannery Workers Union, TIE, Savar, Dhaka on 29-30 July 2022, and 20 female workers from 7 factories participated there.

The main objective of the training was to develop study circle leaders among the unionized workers through Study Circle Education Leadership training and to build the capacity of the workers on the study circle method of education.

At the end of the training, participants have prepared an action plan for conducting study circle meetings and have achieved skills from the training to establish Study Circle and conduct study circle sessions as well as lead as a factory representative in the future.
