BLF and IBC Sign Joint MoU to Advance Labour Rights and Just Transition
A Joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) and the IndustriALL Bangladesh Council (IBC) to strengthen collaboration on labour rights, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), living wage advocacy, and Just Transition within Bangladesh’s RMG, leather, and footwear sectors.
Key Discussions
- Under this MoU, BLF and IBC will jointly implement a range of activities aimed at promoting decent work, sustainable industrial relations, climate justice, and a worker-centered development approach.
- The collaboration will be implemented through the projects “Decent Work Due Diligence Bangladesh” and “Transformation to an Inclusive and Accountable Garments Sector,” with the goal of amplifying workers’ voices and strengthening an inclusive, accountable, and rights-based industry in Bangladesh.
