The “𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸” was marked by Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) through awareness-raising
Inspection on Tannery Factories
On 26th August 2025, representatives from the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) and the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) conducted inspections at four tannery factories to assess workplace safety, labour rights, and management practices.
Discussions were also held on the formation of Safety Committees and Anti-Harassment Committees in each factory.
The Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) provided technical support for this initiative and remains committed to promoting safer and fairer workplaces for all workers.
