Fire Drills in Tannery Industrial Estate

Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) in association with Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) and Tannery Workers Union (TWU) conducted Fire Drill in the Tannery Industrial Estate to provide hands on training to the workers and supervisors with the basics of how to tackle Fire if it take place anytime. This is first ever Fire Drill in the Savar Tannery Estate after relocation from Hazaribagh to Savar.

 

Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) with the support of MondiaalFNV promoting social compliances in the tannery factories since long. This Fire Drill is a major part of different initiatives where industrial safety is similarly needed for the workers for ensuring a decent workplace apart from all other issues.
