Recently, Khandaker Faisal Ahmed, Program Coordinator, Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) visited Chennai Tannery Clusters in India as a member of a delegation comprising Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) member tannery owners, Tannery Workers Union (TWU) President, The Asia Foundation, and CPD researcher. They visited there from June 26 to July 01, 2022.

The goal of the visit was to see and learn good practices of LWG certified tanneries, CETP management, workers; welfare issues, solid waste management, waste recycling, research & development, and trade promotion.
