BLF attended GVB program arranged by Oxfam in Bangladesh

An event commemorating the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence was attended by the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) on December 10, 2024, at the Banani Playground in Dhaka, organized by Oxfam in Bangladesh.

As part of the event, a vibrant stall was set up by BLF to showcase their Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, emphasizing the importance of recognizing Home-Based RMG Workers. The stall served as a hub for raising awareness and promoting understanding of the critical role these workers play in the economy.

The event also featured engaging activities where women and children enthusiastically participated in art competitions, a friendly cricket match, and lively cultural programs, creating a sense of community and solidarity. The initiative highlighted the need for collective action to combat gender-based violence while celebrating creativity and resilience within the community.
