Advancing HRDD Capacity and Strategic Roadmapping
Stronger institutional capability, a common vision, and strategic direction are all necessary for developing more effective mechanisms for Responsible Business Conduct, in addition to compliance. A three-day Staff Capacity Building Workshop on Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) and Strategic Roadmap Development was held in Manikganj from May 4-6, 2026, by the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) with assistance from Mondiaal FNV.
In order to improve awareness of HRDD, responsible supply chains, workers’ rights, and long-term organizational strategy, participants from the Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies (BILS), and Awaj Foundation attended the session.

- Identifying supply chain risks and mapping key stakeholders.
- Aligning organizational strategies with workersโ rights and just transition priorities.
- Strengthening accountability through remedy mechanisms and prevention strategies.
