Workers are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, yet too often left out of the conversation.
Ahead of COP-30 in Brazil, Bangladesh’s trade unions under the National Alliance for Just Transition Bangladesh (NAJTB), with have presented a 10-point charter of demands to ensure that no worker or community is left behind in the journey toward a sustainable and inclusive future.
At a press conference held at the National Press Club, speakers called for workers’ voices to be placed at the heart of climate action, where climate justice meets workers’ rights.
