Tannery Checklist Workshop with the Mid Level Management
Bangladesh Labor Federation (BLF), Department of Inspection for the Factories and Establishments (DIFE) and the Bangladesh Tanners Association (BTA) have jointly organized capacity development workshop on 14 December, 2024, for the mid level management personnel with the newly developed Tannery Factory Inspection Checklist which will be carried out by the Labour Inspectors of DIFE.
The objectives of the workshop was to familiarise the checklist with the Mid Level Officers so that they can be well advance take the initiative to maintain government compliance for a safe workplace. The checklist aims to empower mid-level managers with clear guidelines to identify, address, and prevent potential risks while enhancing productivity and fostering a safe working environment.
This initiative is a step forward in ensuring compliance, workplace safety, and environmental standards in the tannery sector. Together, we’re building a safer and more sustainable tannery industry in Bangladesh!
