Awareness Campaign on Gender Based Violence
An awareness campaign addressing gender-based violence (GBV) and the human rights of tannery workers was organized by the Bangladesh Labour Foundation as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and World Human Rights Day-2024. Supported by Mondiaal FNV, the event took place on December 7, 2024, at the Tannery Industrial Estate (TIE) in Hemayetpur, Savar.
BLF has displayed various related IEC materials in this event and gave briefing on these topic. The Workers of TIE, Owners, Trade union leaders and local people spontaneously participated in our efforts.
