Strengthening Communication and Facilitation Skills
The training focused on developing effective communication and facilitation skills, with emphasis on understanding participantsโ needs, encouraging meaningful participation, adapting approaches to different audiences, and creating inclusive spaces for learning and engagement.
Key Learnings
Effective facilitation goes beyond delivering content and begins with understanding people, their needs, and the context
Creating space for participation enables everyone to engage, share experiences, and contribute meaningfully
Communication and facilitation approaches should be adapted according to different audiences, contexts, and participants
Bringing together diverse sectors and perspectives creates opportunities for meaningful exchange and shared learning
Effective facilitation is about creating space for people to think, participate, learn, and contribute rather than taking space
The Training of Trainers provided an important platform for strengthening the capacity of workers, trade union leaders, and development practitioners through practical learning, participation, and shared experience. Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF), in collaboration with Mondiaal FNV, continues to promote learning and capacity development to support stronger communication, inclusive participation, and effective engagement across the labour movement.
